Getting Started

How do I get started with Digital Signage Player?
To get started: 1) Contact us to get your unique keycode, 2) Download the Digital Signage Player app from Google Play Store, 3) Install the app on your Android device, 4) Enter your keycode when prompted, 5) Your device is now connected and ready to display content!
What devices are compatible?
Digital Signage Player works on any Android device running Android 7.0 or higher. This includes Android tablets, TV boxes, phones, and smart TVs with Android OS.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes, an internet connection is required for the device to sync with the cloud dashboard and receive content updates. We recommend a stable WiFi connection for best performance.

Device Setup

How do I prevent the screen from turning off?
Go to your device Settings > Display > Screen timeout and set it to "Never" or maximum time. For Android TV boxes, enable "Stay awake" in Developer Options. The app also includes a keep-awake feature.
Can I use multiple screens with one account?
Yes! Depending on your plan, you can connect multiple devices. Each device gets its own keycode but is managed from your central dashboard.

Content Management

What file formats are supported?
We support images (JPG, PNG, GIF), videos (MP4, AVI, MOV), and PDFs. Maximum file size is 100MB per file.
How do I schedule content?
From your dashboard, select the content you want to schedule, click "Schedule", and set the days/times you want it to display. You can create multiple schedules for different content.

Troubleshooting

My screen is not updating with new content
First, check your internet connection. If connected, try refreshing the app by closing and reopening it. Content typically syncs within 1-2 minutes. If issues persist, contact our support team.
The app keeps closing or crashing
Try clearing the app cache (Settings > Apps > Digital Signage Player > Clear Cache). If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app, then re-enter your keycode. Make sure your device has enough free storage space.
How do I reset my device?
Open the app settings menu (usually accessible by a gesture or button), select "Reset Device", and confirm. This will remove the keycode and require you to set up the device again.
